Glana Sensors AB

Glana’s vision is to enable spectral analysis for a broader market with high-quality technology. In this way, Glana contributes to the understanding of the world required to solve its greatest challenges.

After years of research at Linköping University and the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI), Glana was founded by Jörgen Ahlberg and Ingmar Renhorn in 2015. The original patented invention – a hyperspectral imaging sensor based on variable transmission filter – still lies at the core of Glana’s offerings.

Since incorporating, multiple camera generations have been developed as well as a surrounding software suit and capture kits. The solution has been used in a number of projects and constellations with greatly provided benefits. The team now exist of driven entrepreneurs as well as recognised scientists and developers.
