Glana’s sensor solution has many advantages compared to traditional push-broom hyperspectral cameras. Apart from being lightweight enough to be carried by small drones, Glana’s solution benefits from a superior surface coverage, is more light sensitive and lacks the uniformity/stability requirements compared to competing sensors. Furthermore, the techology makes it possible to make it very competitively priced.

In contrast to snapshot multispectral sensors, Glana’s patented solution consists of a state-of-the-art continuously variable optical filters combined with advanced image reconstruction algorithms. This means superior spectral resolution in a shorter amount of capture time as well as a very high spatial resolution.
